Last week during the Ultimate Blog Party, Janice Croze of 5 Minutes for Mom made a statement that will forever be added to my list of favorites quotes when she said, “It’s your decision of you want to be successful.”
Why do people (like me) love motivational quotes? Maybe it’s about who said the quote. Maybe it’s about hearing the statement just when you need it or maybe it is simply about the heart of the statement itself. Maybe it’s a combination of the three.
In a recent interview with Katja Presnal of Skimbaco Lifestyle, I mentioned my favorite quote of all time:
So I thought I would share some of my all time favorite quotes… and hope that maybe who said them, what they said or the timing of hearing it might resonate with you too.
There you have it. Are there any that resonate with you? What are your favorite motivational quotes?

Ooooo, I love inspirational quotes! My fav is the one you quoted on FB from Theodore Roosevelt. I’m getting ready to write a post about things I’ve learned as a 40-something that I was trying to convey to my dh in a conversation today. So much of what Dale Carnegie wrote many years ago resonates with me, and I wish I had read the book earlier.
Ooh. Dale Carnegie is a good one!
The dancing in the rain quote really touches me. I collect quotes too and love sharing them on Pinterest. And finding some there too.
I love the marriage vs career quote and the quote by Eleanor Roosevelt regarding those who make you feel inferior… Those are my favortes but they all touch me in some way. Thanks for posting them, very fun to read!
I really love the Audrey Hepburn quote: “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says ‘I’m possible!’”
Love, love, love it!
