Th
is Saturday, May 19th, is the first Food Revolution Day. Founded by the Jamie Oliver Foundation, because, as Jamie himself says, better food education means a better life. Food Revolution Day was created as an event that will educate and empower people to make healthier food choices, such as understanding where food comes from and cooking with real food and whole ingredients.
To participate you can attend or create a local food event, host a dinner party or bring food education to your child’s school or your workplace. In the U.S., funds raised on Food Revolution Day will go toward launching the “Food Education Box” project in the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of America.
