The Inspiring Firefighter

If you have not read this story, you absolutely must.  It is perhaps the most wonderful human interest piece I have read in quite some time.  Scott McDowell is back to work as a firefighter and paramedic at his Michigan fire department after losing not one but both of his legs. How many of us go through life feeling sorry for ourselves, ready to give up when life feels just a little too difficult?  Not Scott McDowell.  He loses two legs and still straps on his boots to go back to the firehouse.
